Someone from Spain put together this super video interspersing Totilas and Fuego doing the same movements. It's really fascinating to watch! http://www.barnmice.com/video/totilas-y-fuego-black-and
This video clearly demonstrates the inability of judges eyes and riders seat to discern a thoroughly engaged back and hindquarter; which is a prerequiste for doing any dressage movement.
One can clearly see that although the forehand leg action is similar, Fuego has more actual extension. One can clearly see that there is a dramatic difference between the thoroughly engaged Fuego and the disengaged Totilas.
So cool to see a polished GP horse and an up and coming one with similar movement. It is so evident that Toto is much more balanced and in rhythm purely because of strength. I can't wait to see Fuego next year, and who Gal will be riding.

If you could ride one of them, which would it be? I would like to try Totilas. :)

It would be a very eye opening experience to ride Toto (especially for some people *cough*) just to feel what Gal is riding so effortlessly. I really admire Gal's riding ad I think sitting on that horse would make me realize even more so what a balanced and sympathetic hand and seat he has. However, riding Fuego would be neat too!
