I'm kind of surprised that no one has brought this up yet! Anyone going? Anyone showing? I can't wait...I haven't been in a few years, but I love the Horse Palace.
I'm showing in the welsh driving classes this Friday and Saturday. I'm also showing on the line on Friday in the welsh classes and riding in the 12.2hh and over class. On Sunday I'm showing on the line for Sport Pony and riding in the dressage suitability. Can't wait!! We move in Thursday and stay right until the end on Sunday....
I was there on Fri, but didn't watch the show. I wandered thorugh all the shops and then ate in that nice retaurant with my hubby. He's not horsey, but loves the atmosphere. While I was shoppin, he was over looking at the farm animals. :)
I would love to see Stacey Westfall. Did anyone see her? I hope she is on a few times during the week.
I'm only able to go down this Thursday but I'm super excited!!!! I go down every year and have been for about 10 in a row. I'm looking forward to some serious shopping!

I saw Stacy! She was amazing, not only in her effortless communication but she is also a talented communicator, and spoke to the audience about her methods- while demonstrating. The woman blows my mind. I am jealous! I wish I could see the dressage night, but I'm in school during the week. The shops were awesome. Some mighty fine deals.
if you go to www.royalfair.org, you can watch a live feed of all the classes for free. Scroll down, and you'll find the info on the right side of your screen. If you pay $30, you can watch all of it, any time you'd like for the next year, and you can watch it in full screen (which is not available for free).
My coach had two girls showing medium ponies. They both did very well and had ribbons in nearly every class.
I headed down for Saturday to watch the cup classes and the Big Ben Challenge. I'll be a long day, but I'm looking forward to it!
