Hi everyone.  I'm Melinda Clark owner of Soft Touch Training located in Northern Illinois.  I specialize in starting young horses of all breeds and training dressage, eventing, and hunters.  I've learned almost everything from my father, Ron Clark, who is also a professional trainer, and have worked with Michael Page, Leslie Law, Ralph Hill, and Klaus Biesenthal.  Training from April to November is $400/month and December to March is $450, board included.  Private lessons are $50/hr and group lessons are $35/hr.  I've shown at most of the shows in the area, eventing through preliminary.  Winner of the 2010 Fox River Valley Horse Trials Open Training division, 2nd at Wayne Dupage Horse Trials Open Training.

Wow, those are pretty competitive rates! We rarely see anything like that in Perth (Try, $125 per day!) Welcome to the forums, I'm sure you will be a very valuable source of information :)

Sedonasilver ~ This is the second year I've really pushed my business. I've been busy with college and like to give each thing my full attention. In the area that I'm in more than $600/month means you have very little business, especially in this economy. I just want to offer a fair, reasonable price for a good service.
