A couple of things you could try... One is to cut a white potato in half and place the cut side on your eye for a half-hour or so. Repeat as needed. Another thing that works great is if you have any Raspberry Leaf (not raspberry flavored) tea - you make the tea and use the hot tea bag as a compress. Just make sure you don't burn yourself.
