I'm new to the forum and will take a moment to introduce myself. I live in Toronto and ride downtown, which I know is quite different than the majority of experience that is typical of people who ride! I have been an animal lover and horse enthusiast my entire life, and have finally begun taking lessons this spring. I now am taking 2 weekly, and try to spend as much time at the barn as I can, without being too obnoxious.
Because, even though I am still a pretty big newb, I hope to one day (soonish) have a horse to call my own. I don't know exactly where I would board him, given that I live in a tiny 2-bedroom in the middle of the West End, but I will find a way. I better, since my even loftier goal is to eventually work my way to show jumping at the grand prix level. ;) (So watchout!)
This forum seems full of information and activity! I will probably spend ages just lurking around. I will surely be able to learn a lot from all of the vast experience of the people posting on this board.
