Talk and complaining amongst ourselves gets us no where. The judges and USEF and FEI must be held accountable in any manner at our disposal.
USEF forces anyone who wishes to file a protest to fork up $200.00.....that is a huge deterent in preventing the filing of protests against judges and/or riders.
No matter what venue one competes in, the judges continuously allow violations of the the rules as to how the horse shall appear. These violations are in reality the cause of unintential physical damage being induced into the competitive horses' muscle structures. These violations are in reality destroying the very foundation of good sportsmanship and concern for the health and welfare of our horses.
An international voice for the horses has been organized but we need participants who are willing to step up and voice their opinons, naming names and dates and competitions. Also willing to discuss in the forum section their perspectives, in order that documentation can be gathered to present in the proper venue, so that inadequate judges may loose their cards and the good judges be recognized for their efforts on behalf of the horses and the rules.
So I ask who amongst this great forum is willing to add their voice, to increase the whisper into a howlling hurricane and create the changes needed for the protection of the health and welfare of our horses?
