Where do you like to go in the winter?

I'm down in Florida for a few days wondering why on earth I spend my winters freezing!

Does anyone here go south for the winter? Where do you like to go?

I go to Florida for a week here and there, and if I had all the money in the world, I would probably like to island hop among some Caribbean islands too.

I wonder if Hawaii is warm in the winter? Hmmm...I'd better start buying lottery tickets!  sun.gif

HI, Barbara:

Hawaii is fabulous in the winter....

....but I'd take just about anywhere which doesn't include frozen water buckets, frozen hands and feet, lugging twice the usual number of hay bales, picking snow balls of hooves, etc....

Niagara Falls biggrin My boyfriend and I always book this really great B&B in Niagara Falls for our anniversary, but I'd like a trip to anywhere! If we had the time and didn't have so many setbacks this year (truck just ate a deer last week, $4,500 in damage!) I did have the boyfriend (who has never traveled the US) convinced that driving the Florida Keys would be pretty nice.

Otherwise, my heritage country is Finland and I'd love to see it, even in the winter aww There is an igloo village called Hotel Kakslauttanen in Lapland, Finland where all the igloos have glass/window tops and you can watch the Northern Lights all night!
