My 3 yr old's first Show - pics and a bit of a brag
Permalink Closed

Prospect's Bravestrom and I at our first show - 66 and 65 per cent - 2 - firsts - champion for the day in their division (even though it was only w/t)
He was such a good boy for a 3 yr old.  Behaved so well.  This is my baby - he is a swedish wb cross.

I was so proud of him - had to brag - please forgive me.

Congrats! Thats awesome!! It doesnt matter if you "only did w/t"! Everyone (horse) has to start somewhere! You should be very proud of your boy. He looks great!

Absolutely worth a brag - particularly for a 3 yo who behaves himself when it's so cold!

He's  a very beautiful horse. Hard to believe he's only three. Many years ago I took a three year old in a local show just for the heck of it. She definitely didn't behave that well. Her new owners had suddenly put her on grain "to fatten her up". Well we rocketed around that ring! Fortunately no harm done. If your boy is doing so well at a young age you have quite a career ahead of you. Good luck!
