I've been meaning to get on the forum for a while but recently found myself thinking about it, and thus here I am! My name is Ashley, and I've been a "Barnmouser" for a year or so. I guess I could start by saying that I've been around horses for about 10 years now, and I've been training for the last five years or so, mostly in the last two or three years. I specialize in western, particularly reining and cow work, but I have a very "deep-seated" passion for dressage and the wonderful things it can do for a horse and rider.
Some of my favourites include Lynn Palm, Monty Roberts, Clinton Anderson, Wylene Wilson, and Steffen Peters. I enjoy a wide array of horse-related subjects but aside from riding and training I also have a great passion for photography. One day I'd like to be as well known as someone like Bob Langrish, for example. ;) We'll see where that goes.
Currently I'm awaiting the available funds to begin my schooling career through Equine Guelph in Ontario, Canada. I plan to one day co-operate a high quality facility and see "behind the scenes" of the Equine Big League on a competitor level.
Anyway, enough about me. Just thought I'd give a little shout out to the forums and see what this is all about! Ride on! -Ash
