Introducing the Prospect Family
Permalink Closed

In 2004 took my family to a dude ranch - so to get my sons accustomed to horses started taking them to dreamcrest to learn how to ride - when we came back from wyoming they wanted to keep going and in 2005 we built (on a 100 acre farm we had purchased in 1985) our horse farm.  We breed, event and train dressage with warmblood/draft cross sport horses.

We currently have 10 horses with one on the way.

Check out some of our horses and family at www.prospectequinefarms.com/gallery.htm

The horse in my profile is a picture of my now rising  4 yr old swedish wb cross when he was a 2 yr old.  He is now my new horse and we are looking forward to the upcoming season.

I have 2 sons that event - both are starting new horses that are young and are also excited about the upcoming season.  Younger son has a rising 6 yr old Selle Francais and my older son is riding our rising 5 year old Rio Grande Mare.

My husband has a lovely pmu rescue that looks after him and is just a doll.

We also have a couple rising 2 yr olds - one is a rescue and one is a home bred by the dressage stallion Donavan.

We have a rising yearling that is the daughter of my Bravestrom and he has another foal due in April that will be a full sibling from our salut/tb broodmare.

We have one clyde/hackney cross that is currently for sale and being ridden by a young girl.

Also part of the family are:

Odin the Great Dane
Zeus  - the grey tabby
and Hobbes the orange Tabby.

Nice! You have a good collection there! And some horses I wouldn't mind having.
