What is wrong with people!! And the article says that it looks like the field/s are rented, so why didn't they ask somebody to take the foal before they had this brain wave idea? And why aren't the other boarders beating these people with large sticks??

I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I knew that this was going on or if I were a fellow boarder and knew that another boarder had done something like this.

I once got involved with loading a horse a few years ago, we pulled into the drive and seen this guy sea-sawing (lead rope passed through a handle) a horse into a trailer, while whipping the horse with the other end of the lead rope rather violently. I told my boyfriend not to drive up any further because it didn't look like it would end well -- no sooner had I said that, the horse's halter slipped off and the horse flipped out of the trailer backwards (step-up trailer, the horse had both front feet in), landed on it's back and then scrambled to get up and take off. My boyfriend said after that he didn't know who was running faster -- me towards the guy to scream at him, or the horse away from the guy. He also mentioned that he thought the guy would never see the light of day again, and that he had thought about where we should hide the body! This was just a trailer loading incident, can't imagine how livid I'd be if I knew about/witnessed a horse or pony or any equine being dragged and then left for dead!
