Hello I am new to the barn and would like to introduce myself. I am sixty years old and have been around horses all my life. I was taught the horse whisper style of training way before anyone here of the horse whisperer. I used to raise appaloosa coloured ponies known as Kanata Ponies. I was the Ontario Rep for years. I have had Shetlands, quarter horses, appaloosas, thoroughbreds, welsh and now miniatures. At this time I have two miniature mares and one stallion and an appaloosa mare. We live in central Ontario near Wyevale. I would love to meet other members here
Welcome to Barnmice, Dancing Bear! It seems like you have quite a bit of experience in the horse world. As Barbara said, you also have a broad range. I'm very excited to hear any of your insights here on the forum. :) Welcome again.

My favourite breed is the Appaloosa. I liked the appaloosa ponies. I raised them for twenty years. I would like to get some appaloosa coloured miniatures. Right now I have a black stallion , a black mare and a bay mare in the minis.
Hello DB.... I am Jennifer and I had never been around a horse in my life until I adopted my gelding Toby, who was 22 at the time...... he taught me alot, is still with me at the ripe old age of 29 and one of my best friends..... my project horse is Oliver, a wild orphaned mustang who was 8 weeks old when I got him...... along with other creatures dogs, birds, cats, bunnie, and fish..... I find horses fascinating, alot of work and I wish I was younger so I could maybe actually ride some day.
