Has anyone ever tried altering a shadbelly? Found one on ebay, but need to go a size smaller. Is it expensive or difficult to find a seamstress to alter it?
Hi Natasha :) Most dry-cleaners here in the states also can do alterations/tailoring for relatively cheap. I've never altered a shadbelly but I imagine a good enough seamstress will be able to tailor the jacket to your size. If the jacket isn't going to break the bank, it couldn't hurt to try having it tailored. Best of luck! :)

Still looking for one, thought maybe I could find a bigger one for cheaper, but the search is proving to be more difficult than i thought. The size disparity between brands is huge!
