Hi, thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Pat and I live in central Alberta. I currently have four horses...Diego: Mangalarga Marchador gelding, Dandee: AQHA mare, Teebo: Arabian colt, & Casper: Mangalarga Marchador cross gelding. Also have a Rhodesian Ridge back cross dog: Ruby, Great Pyrenees cross dog: Loki, a house cat: Bonkers, and some barn cats: Nemo, Marlin, Tux, and Milo. I also have four aquariums with an assortment of fish. I work as a water treatment operator.

Looks like a nice forum and a great place to meet some new people. smile

Welcome to the forum.

Isn't it wonderful how we can "talk" to people thousands of miles away on Barnmice!

Welcome Pat! I have been a big Marchador fan since an article in Horse Illustrated (I think?) quite a few years ago. How did you come to own them? :)

Cheers!

We imported a mare and stallion from the US. They had been originally imported from Brazil. We have since sold the mare, stallion, and yearling (as we are no longer breeding), but we kept Diego. He was born on our farm and was the first one to be born in Canada. He has a special place in my heart.
