Caspari is definately handsome in real life, but I think he's more handsome in the computer world. I added more muscle on him, as Belinda requested. Do you think he looks like a hunter/ jumper horse? I don't know, but I think he looks like a snazzy dressage horse, and doesn't need more muscle added onto him.
Those are some framers for sure, Barbara! I can tell your horse really likes you (or you have a lot of treats in your pockets). What breed is he?
LOL - BOTH!!
Caspari is officially Westphalian, but his bloodlines are Holsteiner on his sire's side (C line, but I don't know Holsteiner lines) Florestan on his dam's side.
I have two which are C line Holsteiners on top, going to Cor de la Bryere, through his son, Corrado II. Cor'd is a major jumping line, I can't remember the exact statistic, but he had a huge number of offspring competing in the jumpers at the Atlanta Olympics.
My two girls got a fabulous topline and great movement from their Dad. Now he's C top and Lord on the dam side, so one could argue quite a bit about what came from where, but the top-side grand-sire was quite a mover himself. I can also say that he was very prepotent on those two things especially. And height, which the Holsteiners are known for.
I love my C kids. Okay, sometimes they can be stubborn, but they are athletic buggers. Enjoy your 'C'!
Caspari is very furry right now. I'll try to take a pic. when I'm at the barn after I've groomed him, so everyone can laugh at him and me COVERED in hair! Not quite so elegant as those photos!!
