Are they legal to show in? I tried on on my horse and he seemed to like it. He was very relaxed and soft in it.

Any chance this is the Myler bit that was sold around 15 years ago, with "Extreme tongue relief" somewhere in the description?

If so, I have one, and like it. I have used it on quite a few youngsters over the years, and just kept them in it as older horses. I originally bought it for a filly that was putting her tongue over the bit....YUP! She could still put her tongue over!!

I have a #2 that I use on my 7 year old and my 14 year old geldings.  Both absolutely love them!
