Woman Claims Horse is Magic
Permalink Closed

I just wanted to share this inspiring story of a "magic" horse, very touching. It is amazing how horses (and other animals) can help us when we take the time to listen to them. Shelia was able to survive cancer with the help of the riding school horse that she was partnered with.

I have MS.
I have ended up trusting what the horses I ride say about my physical state much more than what the doctors say!
If the horses all allow me to keep contact with a bit I know that I am not getting much worse. But when the horses start refusing to keep contact the doctors often pooh-pooh them as a diagnostic tool. The doctors often want to do expensive tests to "prove" what the horses already know.

Wow! Great story!

There have been numerous cases with animals knowing something is wrong before the doctors. Its amazing!

animals are magic...they know so much more than most people give them credit for... science is slow to acknowledge what people who live with non-human animals know - have seen over and over -- animals are so very special

what a wonderful story - thanx for posting that..

Oh yes, just one of the many reasons we love horses (and animals in general), they are so in-tune to us/what is going on -- way more than we are generally aware of ourselves aww
