Whitney Houston has died - What sad news

I just read that music superstar Whitney Houston is dead. She was 48-years old.

"Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California where she was a guest, Beverly Hills Police lieutenant Mark Rosen confirmed in a briefing. Attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful. The cause of death is unknown, and is currently under investigation."

This was such a talented woman whose life was destroyed by drugs. What a waste.

I'm pretty sad to learn about Whitney's death. But like you've mentioned Barb, drugs took a toll on her life, so in a sense I'm not surprised by the news. Very sad either way, I hope her daughter is able to live a better (drug free, abuse free) life.
