Dressage Book Suggestions
Permalink Closed

Well the time has come around where I'm hungry for a good read!  I've just started Dressage not yet 3 months ago leaving the land of H/J.  I'd really like to see other known and respected rider's books.  So please, post some suggestions of your favourite Dressage books!

Thanks!

Sally Swift is my favorite (I really like the pictures - visual learner). A great book not actually about riding, but about a rider is "Canadian Entry". I have no idea if you can actually buy it any more but it's a good read! Shows us how far dressage has evolved in the last 30+ years.
Good luck!

The Dressage Rider's Survival Guide by Margret A. Odgers. It's witty and informative. You can learn and get a 'visual sense' without getting caught up on technical terms. It's lots of fun!
