Welcome Ranna!
How do you use your clicker training? In the saddle? For ground work?

Hi Barbara, Tnx for the welcome.

I use clickertraining in whatever I can. Haven't been doing for that long mind you, but love the way of working together. Making your horse think. Seeing them try to find out what it is you're asking. How they can earn that piece of carrot or any other treat.

Do you use clickertraining aswell?

@sedonasilver, it's so easy you won't believe it :D
And you can use it not only with horse's but dog, goats, cats and every other animal that like food really.

The only thing you have to learn is timing. Your timing is the most important thing with clickertraining. Oh well, there must be lots of people here who use clickertraining and can you lots about it.

You can find a ton of information about on the internet.
But I'll see, I might post something on the training forum ;)

Hey Ranna, nice to see a "neighbour" on here! I live an hour north of the German/Danish border so I have been to Germany quite a lot of times.

I do clicker training occasionally with my young dog, started when he was 4 months old and it was so much fun! And yes, you are right that it is all in the timing. I haven't tried with my horse though. LOL

Forgot to say - I love your avatar pic and especially your signature... so true and something I should take to heart more often! :)

Hi Roka, so we don't live all that far from each other!
My avatar is a pic of my youngest horse. 3 years of age now and a real sweetheart. Hope one day he will be as lovely with riding as he is in groundwork and clickertraining.
I use the clicker with my dog too and he absolutely loves it!

You should try it on your horse aswel!!! I bet he will like it a lot once he understand he can earn some sweets.

@Jessie: cats are so much fun!

@Hi Gaby, what do you mean with: 'don't get the clicker training'?
