Levels or Competition?
Permalink Closed

Hi
I have been riding for years. I outgrown my horse last year. This year I have two choice, to do my levels with the horse my coach will pass for really cheap or get a new hunter horse and compete. I cannot do both because of financial restriction so I must pick only one. Can anyone help??

I would suggest getting the levels- it is an asset to your resume, no matter what you are doing. It is also just well-rounded learning as opposed to just the riding. Plus, who knows? If you get your levels, and decide to take it up to the next level and get a coaching level, you could make up the money to get your new hunter ;)
Since I lost my horse I have not bought another. One reason is that I can't afford it, the other is that I am not ready- but I like to tell people that I am to the point where I can be paid to ride, not pay-to-ride!

Thanks
This is so hard to decide. Because both ways are great. I think I might still keep looking for the horse and if I can't find him or her this year I will do my levels.
