All rider and horse levels welcome!

Private riding session for 30 min$145 (includes
admission to symposium)

Auditing Fee—$40 (includes admission to symposium)

Day stabling available with a deposit required from
riders.

Why do we lunge horses?

  • Demonstration of lunging horses
W. Faustino -7 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding, owned by Daniele McClusky. Currently schooling
2nd level.
Demonstrating lunging with side reins to show correctional benefits (tilt).

Don Rico - 9 year old Hanoverian Stallion by Don Frederico. Owned by Mike Cook of Centaur Breeding
Farm, Navan Ontario.
Demonstrating balance on the lunge line and what equipment suits him best given his stage of training.

Well Done - 8 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding by Idocus, owned by John MacPherson.
Demonstrating the use of the degogue

Azriel - 7 year old Canadian Sport Horse mare, owned by Alex Kuusela. Currently schooling 3rd level.
Demonstrating balance on the lunge line, compared to improved balance under saddle with a rider.

Anton - 11 year old Saxon gelding by Anteus, owned by Robyn Eames. In Anton's spare time he enjoys
hacking, eating carrots, eating apples, eating mints, eating sugar....and of course getting as much
attention as possible!
Demonstrating a more advanced horse on the lunge. How does lunging benefit him? Demonstrate in
hand work.
