Hi everyone,

I've written an article on How to Find the Horse Farm for You - please share with anyone you think might benefit.

Thanks!

the link to the article is under the words - "How to Find the Horse Farm for You "

We did not buy a horse farm - we bought a 100 acre farm 25 years ago - but really there was nothing here but an abandoned house and barn.  We had to demolish the barn, clean up all the old stuff including fencing.

We built the horse farm only 6 years ago.

That's GORGEOUS, prospect! What I wouldn't give for a place like that.... LOL

And yes, I apologize for the "subtle" link there - usually when you set up a link the letters change dramatic colour or the link is underlined. Here, you actually have to run your (barn?) mouse over the words for the line to appear!

Prospect: I am supremely jealous! No doubt that tons of hard work, sweat and tears probably went into the design and construction of this beautiful facility you have, but man! What a beautiful setup.

Wind_Chaser: Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!

yes, we have worked very hard - thank you - we had the outside of the barn/arena built - just a bit too much for us, but we did all the interior and almost everything else - had the fencing done too.  But we built the new hay storage building and renovated our house and built additions.  We bought our farm in 1985 but built the horse farm in 2005 - our farm was a dilapitated 1867 farm house and was abandoned for 20 years.

Prospect: Wow, that sounds incredible. I'm glad there are still people out there who are willing to spend the time, money, and energy to build their own places and make them unique to their own needs opposed to just inhabiting a pre-built multi-million dollar facility, or what have you. :) Fantastic, and kudos.

Wind_Chaser, keep 'em coming! :)

I've gone a little bit more specific this week and done an article on "green" (or environmentally-friendly) horse farms.
