I don't know that it's bizarre, but my little guy is named "Pure Havoc". It's one that people either love or hate. If he'd been a filly, it would have been "Pure Folly".
I've heard "His Horse", which is cute when you enter the ring. I've always wanted a "Her Retirement" for that same reason.
25 years ago, or so, we knew a girl with "My Ten Speed".
One of the most memorable horse names I've herd of was a mare named "Fleeting Grace". Now that I'm a bit older, I understand that name more and more! ;)

Many years ago I knew of a quarter horse that had a show name of "I Feel Like a Reject". The owner was submitting many names to the regestry and they kept denying them. She got really frustrated and sent in I Feel Like a Reject and they accepted it!
My mum's Andalusian was originally named "Bob the Builder" as he was proudly named by the stud owners 6 year old son. Needless to say, we changed his name when we bought him.
I've heard "His Horse", which is cute when you enter the ring. I've always wanted a "Her Retirement" for that same reason.
We used to joke at the barn about naming a horse, "Really Well" so when the announcer read out the name, it would be, "and here's So-and-so riding 'Really Well'." and you can keep building on that. "Here's So-and-so riding 'Even Better'." (of course, then, the announcer could be clever and say "here's 'Really Well', ridden by So-and-so and you lose the joke ....)
Some of these names just make me laugh, Visa Card, Bob the Builder, and I feel like a reject. I can just imagine going to a show and hearing, 'here's so-and-so riding 'I feel like a Reject' - too funny! Then, as you say Barb, Fleeting Grace can be just that.
So, on the same show results where I saw "Cavity", there was also one called, "It's Catweasel". I mean, really! Do you think Catweasel bites? I knew a chestnut gelding who was given a quite normal name, but the owner always said she should have called him "Red Snapper" for the obvious reason!

I once worked at a barn where the horse's were named after adult cartoon characters, I always felt that it was unfortunate, I would of loved to give the horses new much more suitable names!

There's a pony at my barn and he's just nasty. His barn name and part of his registered name is Dante(Don't remember the whole part, it's one of those slightly longer ones). I just call him my little devil haha.

Big Mare's registered name is Elegant Nurse. Not sure how that one was decided (or why: nothing in her pedigree suggests anything related) but she has since been addressed as Mumma, Big Mare, Diva B (and the B ain't always for "beautiful": ) and has been shown as Foreign Music, Merrilight and Rage'nGlory. All most fitting for my sacred partner : )
It's the home/family names that get goofy for me: Bubbylumps (abbi)? Pheeties (phoenix)? Teebs (tacoma, RIP)? Dippadoo (gypsy )? Manns (mercury)? Taji-pants (tajandar)?
And we have The BayBoyBand, all bay boys in blue blankets this year....
I always thought that "Hoof Hearted" was a grand name to hear over a loudspeaker : )
