First of all, sorry for the terrible pun! However, I found this really cool article on the equine eye, - in particular the eyes of racehorses.
Reading it made me realise I don't know every much about the equine eye. Sure, I knew they had blindspots directly in front and behind them and I knew that they changed the position of their head to see better, but that was really it! I know lots about other parts of the horse (hooves in particular!) but know relatively little about the equine eye. I'm definitely going to have to do some research!
So what do you know about the equine eye? What would you like to know more about?

Was it this Equine Eye article? -- Your link didn't work, Kathleen :(
The equine eye is a really fascinating piece of anatomy! They have monocular as well as binocular vision, which gives them a huge range of sight. :) Pretty cool article!

Yes that's the one, Ash! I mis-typed my code, but its fixed now. Thanks!
What I find amazing is how well horses adapt to living with only one eye. I don't think I could do a course of jumps with only one eye, but many horses manage it.
It is incredible! Especially given the amount of depth perception I imagine one would lose if they were left with just one eye! I also find that entirely blind horses can accomplish some amazing feats as well. I've heard many times about horses with no eyes at all carrying on as if they had never lost their eyes. I think they have incredible senses in other areas that become hyper-active and help make up for the lack of eyesight. :) Wonderful creatures, they are.
