I think most horse owners are aware of the EHV-1 outbreak from a show held in Utah the first of May.  As of yesterday, 5 more horses in Utah are suspected of having the virus ( were in contact with horses that attended the show).  

The Junior Rodeo queens had their competition yesterday and decided to keep their horses home.  I thought that was very respectful of the current situation and displayed their dedication to keeping horses safe.  Two thumbs up to the junior queens!  Here is a link to the new story with video.
