From an observer, I find that the horse is much more relaxed, he has more fluidity to his movement, his front legs have losed that snappy thing and are flowing better, and his neck is softening.
It was nice to see Matthias riding a bit more relaxed, he looked so uptight in a few of the past videos -- you can see they still have a ways to go to learn each other, but no doubt that they will get there. Makes me very interested in seeing how Totilas' offspring will come about in the future, I really hope that he passes on his greatness to them.

Definitely agree the pirouettes needed some help, but I most certainly can't ride that well yet, so I don't have much room to talk. They are sloppier than with Edward, I could say.
I also felt like he was holding back some.. extended trot and canter seemed reeled in a bit, but then again, he looks like he is much too big for a tiny dressage ring, LOL.
Overall I think they are coming along beautifully together!
