I'm not new to barnmice, but finally decided to sign up for the forums.  I've been reading them for quite a while and you all seem nice so...

I compete in NATRC (competitive trail riding).  For us, it's a good balance of distance and obstacles.  My gelding, Hero, is a 13yo Arab who is my "horse of a lifetime."  Just can't believe what he will do for me!  I've learned a lot in the 9 years I've had him; he's just so far above any of the backyard horses with which I grew up.

I also have a CUTE Arab mare I'm training, and we have a Pinto we call my daughter's, although I hope to breed her someday.

Well that's about it for now...
