I bought a horse!!! (pictures!)

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I have been on the forums here; I have been incredibly busy lately. Why? I bought a horse! I now pretty much live at the barn (I work there as well).

My new mare is a 16hh, four year old, chestnut thoroughbred. Her registered name is Silly Street and her barn name is Lilly. She was racing and training up until August 2nd and I purchased her on the fifth. She transferred from race mode to riding mode without a hitch - she is a quiet but energetic ride and she tries her heart out for you. We hack around property on the buckle, ride on the road, have trot "races" with my friend's OTTB... Lilly does it all! She's just an absolute pleasure to ride and work with.

And now the best part... PICTURES!

My first time riding her, 2 days after retiring from the track. Clearly a nutcase OTTB, right? biggrin
