Just some Monday boredness- pictures

I'm sitting here bored on a Monday so thought I would share some pictures.  First group is from of photoshoot I had (had to get a picture of me to use in a press release for a trainer challenge).  This horse, Sunshine, was actually the first horse I started under saddle.  She's my go to horse, has been used for lessons, first rides, and is beginning her show career to prove herself before a possible breeding.

One of my favorites

Second group.  This was a "goodbye" photoshoot my sister and I had with a horse I trained and recently sold, Mo.  Figured it was a shame to waste a sparkly clean horse...  My sister is a green rider, Mo was 4.  For the last two months I had him, she was his main rider.  I would have kept him for her if she was serious about riding, but he'll get more attention with his new family.

I'll be in the North American Trainers Challenge which is held during the Friesian Grand Nationals.   There will be three of us starting 3-4 year old Friesians over the course of 3 days and competing over an obstacle course on the fourth.  Somewhat like Road to the Horse, but without the big name trainers;).  There's some more info on it at: http://cornerstonehorsemanship.com/Trainer%20Challenge.htm  (can't figure out how to insert a link right now, copy and paste should work)

This will be my first trainer challenge, so I'm pretty excited or nervous depending on the day.

ETA: The competition is from October 5-8 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA
