Okay, so I want to know what handy barn items you've picked up at the dollar store? Some of my dollar store finds have been:
Scrubbers for buckets, I like to grab these stifle brush scrubbers with blue handles that come in a 2 pack. They are so handy for scrubbing buckets and auto-waterers.
Containers for storing smallers items in grooming/tack boxes/trailers etc.
Car washing mitts are handy for washing horses, applying liniments etc.
Rubber gloves of course!
What have you guys found at the dollar store that makes life easier at the barn?

You've found some really useful stuff. The car washing mitts are a brilliant idea! I'm going to visit my dollar store this week to see what I can discover!!
I have used not only car wash mitts but the car lint clothes to help remove that last layer of dirt and dust at the show or just at home. Gives him an extra shine and comparative "equine" clothes are $15 and up! Dollar Store was 3 for $1! I also have used the small plastic cleaning supply totes to put my leather cleaning supplies in. Keeps it handy to just grab and go. Also bought a very large plastic garden tub to put under his hay net to catch leftovers. Was only $5 and I use another to tote his daily feed bags back and forth to the barn (I keep feed at home and only have a weeks supply at the barn due to lack of space). And last but not least...granola bars for treats!!! At $1 a box they are inexpensive treats.
