Barn Gifts?
Permalink Closed

Does anybody give their barn owner/trainer/barn staff etc. a little "thank you" over the holidays? What about your horse and riding buddies, do you give them a little treat?

When I used to work as barn staff, some of the owners would muck their own stalls while they were on holidays and would bring me a warm drink (coffee or tea) to sip on while we chatted, it was a nice treat! Even a simple thank you note was really appriciated aww

i always bring my vet's assistants a box of choccies - because they are wonderful - and the farrier gets a 'tip' on his near christmas visit & my coach gets a little something too..something I know he'd like...gift card and choccies..I love my vet my farrier and my coach...they're all awesome and are my 'partners' in ensuring my horsies are healthy and happy...so ...I want them to know I appreciate them.
