I am at a loss for words, I just read about Blas Lago's lovely dressage mount of 15 years passing away. I can't believe that the competition venue had the horse's body removed and disposed of without asking what Blas' wishes for the horse were! It turns my stomach that the poor horse ended up going to a meat processing facility, I can't even imagine how this rider feels!!

That is so sad.....that' poor rider.....poor horse...the officials at that show that allowed this to happen - what a dispicable lack of judgement and humanity..

I just can't even imagine how this could happen, like you've said Goatgirl, an extreme case of poor judgement on the part of those who gave the go ahead for this to happen. The whole story makes my stomach turn, I can't imagine how I'd feel if this happened to me!
