I am looking to purchase my first ever pair of clippers.  I do a trace clip on my horse so will need them for body clipping.  There are so many available and I have no idea what is the best to buy.  I would like cordless but know the battery life looks to be about an hour.  Any advice on what to buy?  Thanks in advance!

Hi Kim,

There are so many choices, here's what I would do.

Open Apple Saddlery's clippers page in front of you: http://www.applesaddlery.com/searchadvanced.aspx?SearchTerm=clippers

Then call them at 800 867-8225 and ask to speak specifically to Hiliary. Tell her I sent you. She is a long-time Barnmice sponsor and you will be treated very well!

She is VERY knowledgeable and because they sell a variety of clippers, she'll be able to find some that suit your needs at the best price.

Also, they are having a massive sale with everything 20-50% off right now until Dec 31!

I have a set of Andis clippers that are awesome! Big enough to trace clip, but quiet and lighter than my old Sunbeams.
