I was just reading about this great program that Freedom Horses offers for abused women and how the horses are changing the lives of these women (some of them very young). This got me thinking about how grateful I am that I was able to start riding at a young age and how because of that I was able to make better decisions throughout my teens that otherwise I might not of made, all because a few horses along the way gave me hope, dreams, and made me strong. I'm sure we all have a similar story as to how a horse pulled us through the tough times, it just makes me smile when I hear about programs out there that are changing lives
