Each spring my horse gets a hunters bump. I say spring because this year Calgary really hasn't had a winter to speak of, temperatures are well above zero...not normal. In the past I have brought out an equine chiro to deal with it and likely will this year also but I am starting out treating with massage first.
I don't understand why this happens every spring...my horse does not jump, has not for 5 years now. He is 11 and for the past 2 years I have been schooling us in dressage.
Has anyone out there had a similar problem that you used massage to address/help? If so, what did you do that worked?
