Hello everyone,

 My 5 year OTTB has had "bum sweat" (under his tail) and i don't if this is normal orr cause i have never seen this happen before.. any thoughts???confuse

Is it white and foamy between his legs or just under his tail?

Is it really hot where you are? Maybe he is just sweating from the heat.

yeah, it's just white and foamy just under his tail... is this okay???? and yes, it is quite hot and humid

Usually sweat at the bum is a good sign that your horse is using his hind end- BUT if it's from the heat and there's a lot of sweat, adding some electrolytes to your horse's daily routine would be a great idea. And, as always, 24 hour access to clean, fresh water.

okay, well, i guess he must be using his hind end and we are giving him electrolytes
