It was raining on and off at the barn today, with the sun coming out in between. I went on a gorgeous hack and toward the end Caspari and I ended up in a field on a hill. We were walking along, all alone with the sun and clouds lighting and shading the trees with their mix of green, yellow and red leaves and creating an indescribably beautiful scene. I stopped Caspari right there on the hill and we both looked around, listening to complete silence except for the droplets of rain falling off the branches. I said "Look, Caspari. Isn't this heavenly?" And heaven it was.
