I"M GOING!!!!!!! I'm going on the indoor eventing (since i'm an evener :L) my friend is showing in the uhhh i forget what it's called but its the ring in the middle of the grounds and they like, portrait and type of riding like eventing, dressage(she's doing eventing)

Eventing101, I'm going to be there on Friday the 2nd, I think there will be some Eventing going on that night?

I'm not sure what I'll be buying, I go into some sort of weird Royal coma, this is 18 years in a row for me so I just love the whole thing! I know I will be looking for boot socks for my sister, but as for myself I'm not sure, which leaves the door open to impluse buys Lol

Good luck to your friend, will she be riding in the Spirit of The Horse ring? I think that is what it is called?

yeah, i think there is some evevnting but i'm not sure! yeah, since i go with my barn, this is i think the 3rd year we've gone :) and YEAH thats the word i was looking!

Only a few more sleeps until The Royal! I was worried that Hurricane Sandy was going to wreck everything, hopefully everybody is okay and still gets a chance to go :)

I went and saw opening day/night of The Royal -- got my fix of coffee from the Wandering Bean (brought home a pound of Cowboy Coffee from them too!), enjoyed a buffalo burger (first time I've had buffalo before), bought a book after being overwhelmed by all the awesome tackshops! Took in the sights and sounds of the horse barn, enjoyed the Alpacas and then took in the evening horse show -- fantastic all the way around as usual biggrin
