Silent Auction - Friends4Eddo
Permalink Closed

The FRIENDS4EDDO Facebook page has been launched.

In June of 2012, well known dressage clinician, trainer and brand new father, Eddo Hoekstra suffered a severe stroke that has led to some physical challenges on his left side. He spent many weeks in the hospital and is now at home working hard on his rehabilitation while facing new hurdles every day. It is with optimism, encouragement and support that all of the contributions will be donated to Eddo and his family with our wishes for a continued and successful recovery.

Friends4Eddo are Olympians, Pan Am Medalists, Coaches, Dressage Masters and Parelli Professionals that have all offered the gift of their time and expertise to celebrate our equestrian community and help Eddo in his recovery. Although the combined estimated worth of these gifts is over $ 1800.00, the true gift is from the heart.

At 9:00am, November 5th, 2012 until 9:00 pm November 16th, 2012, equestrian friends from all over can join in the fun and make an offer towards the gift of their choice.  There are some great opportunities to bid on a a clinic or a DVD from some amazing equestrians!

Here’s how to do it: As easy as 1,2,3 !

1)Go to the Photo Album athttp://www.facebook.com/Friends4eddo and the picture of the gift that interests you, “read the description of the gift”

2)Send a private message and include your choice of Friend, your Name, contact information (phone# and email) and how much you wish to contribute.

3)All messages will be private and received throughout the day. The highest amount will be posted at 9:00 p.m. nightly, so keep an eye on your favorite, as you may be in for the ride of a lifetime!

On Saturday, November 17th, the people with the highest contribution towards the gift of their choice will be contacted with the great news.
