Talk and complaining amongst ourselves gets us no where. The judges and USEF and FEI must be held accountable in any manner at our disposal. USEF forces anyone who wishes to file a protest to fork up $200.00.....that is a huge deterent in preventing the filing of protests against judges and/or rider...

Here's one I just stumbled upon... The idea of the stock tie was that it would act as a scarf and keep the rider warm and dry, as well as make a useful bandage or sling should the rider or horse get injured. I had no idea, but it makes perfet sense.

Now that fall is here and winter knocking on the door, the hours of daylight have shortened significantly. At the barn where I board we have a lighted outdoor arena and forty acres of pasture. I know of other boarders that ride the pasture in the dark but I am not so sure that is a good idea. Any thoughts?

I have just clipped my horse and now I notice that he is already getting rub marks form the saddle pad behind hte saddle and behind his shoulder! Any ideas at all how to prevent this? Does anyone use baby powder?
